What we reupholster
A well-made sofa or armchair deserves a second life. We strip the piece back, renew foams, webbing and springs where needed, and upholster it in the fabric you choose — so it comes back not just looking new, but feeling new. These are our most common jobs at Tapicero Mallorca:

Every piece is different, so treat these as orientative. The fabric you choose is what moves the final price most: hard-wearing basics cost up to €15/m, stain-resistant fabrics around €16/m, and velvet or leather from €50/m. The definitive quote is free and fixed before we start.

Is it worth reupholstering a sofa instead of buying a new one?
If the frame is solid and you like the design, almost always. A quality sofa reupholstered with good fabric will outlast most new mid-range sofas — and it is the sustainable option. As a rule of thumb, if reupholstering costs less than 40–50% of an equivalent new piece, it is worth doing.
How much does it cost to reupholster a sofa in Mallorca?
As a guide: 2-seater sofas from €600, 3-seaters from €700, armchairs €150–350 and leather sofas €2,000–4,000 depending on the hide and model. The final price depends on the fabric you choose and the condition of the foams and webbing. Send photos on WhatsApp for a fixed quote within 24 hours.
Can I choose the fabric?
Yes. We work with a wide range: hard-wearing basics up to €15/m, stain-resistant fabrics around €16/m, gobelin around €21/m, and velvet or leather from €50/m. For everyday sofas we recommend fabrics rated at least 25,000 Martindale rub cycles.
Do you collect and deliver?
Yes, we pick up and deliver anywhere in Mallorca. We agree the dates with you, and the quote is fixed before we start.
