A campervan interior ages faster than a house: closed up in the sun it can reach oven temperatures, the foam compresses under constant use, and the original fabrics from the factory are rarely the hard-wearing kind. At Tapicero Mallorca we bring it back:

Campervan work piles up in June and July, when everyone realises the cushions are flat a week before their trip. If your van sits still over the winter, that is the moment to get the interior redone — more workshop capacity, no rush, and you start the season with it finished. Do I have to bring the whole caravan to the workshop?
Usually not. Most of the work — dinette cushions, mattresses, curtains — can be done from the removable pieces, so you can simply drop them off at our workshop in Cala Major, Palma. For roof linings and wall panels we do need to see the vehicle, and we will arrange that with you.
Can you make mattresses to fit my caravan's odd-shaped beds?
Yes. Campervan beds are almost never a standard rectangle — there are wheel arches, angled corners and cut-outs. We make the mattresses and cushions from a pattern taken off the actual bed base, so they fit properly instead of leaving gaps.
Which fabrics cope best with the sun and summer use?
Fabrics with UV protection that do not fade, stain-resistant finishes that clean with a damp cloth, and open-cell foam in anything that might get damp. A campervan interior in Mallorca gets extreme heat with the doors closed, so we avoid anything that will go brittle or hold moisture.
How long does a campervan interior take?
A set of dinette cushions or a mattress is usually a matter of days. A full interior — seating, roof, panels and curtains — takes longer and we will give you a realistic date with the quote. If you have a trip booked, tell us the date up front and we will plan around it.
